Description

These are two late 18th-century buildings on the east side of the Market Place. They are constructed of red brick with three storeys. The front has three sash windows, each with a simple stone lintel. The building has moulded stone eaves and a blocking course, topped with slate roofing. Modern shop fronts have been installed, but they retain cornices from the 19th century. The buildings are listed at Grade II for their group value, alongside numbers 19 to 23 and the premises formerly occupied by Westminster Bank.
