Description
No. 25 Market Place is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick, which is set on an earlier timber frame. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two sash windows without glazing bars and a plain gable. The shop front is modern. The rear elevation facing Church Walk is more attractive, showcasing a plain gable and a three-light mullioned window on the second storey and attic. There is also an early 19th-century penthouse addition on the side. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 19 to 23 and the premises occupied by Westminster Bank.
