Description
No. 24 Market Place is a late 18th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands three storeys tall and features three sash windows, along with a modest double-fronted shop that has glazing bars. The rear elevation facing Church Walk is particularly attractive, showcasing two sash windows with keyblocks and channelled lintels, as well as a six-panel door set in a moulded stone architrave with a cornice. The doorway is flanked by wrought iron railings. The building has plain eaves and a slate roof. It is part of a group that includes Nos. 19 to 23 and the premises occupied by Westminster Bank.
