Description

23 Market Place is an early 19th-century building constructed in red brick. It stands three storeys high and features three sash windows, which do not have glazing bars, along with channelled lintels. The upper windows, one of which is blocked, do have glazing bars. The building has plain wood eaves and a slate roof. The shop front has been modernized. It is listed as Grade II for its group value, along with Nos 19 to 23 (consecutive) and the premises occupied by Westminster Bank.
