Description

The Cottage is a detached cottage that was originally a small farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features brick walls, likely built on cob, and has a thatched roof with brick end stacks. The building is one storey with an attic. A timber trellised porch with a gabled slate roof and a ledged door is located at the front. The ground floor includes two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, while the attic has two dormers that also feature similar casements. At the rear, there is a single storey addition that has both a lean-to and a flat roof, along with a small timber porch on the right end wall.
