Description
The main entrance to Lulworth Park, built in the late 18th century, features a triple opening design. It is flanked by a pair of rusticated stone gate piers topped with caps that have a fluted frieze and ball finials at the main opening. On either side of this central opening are smaller entrances, each bordered by brick piers with stone copings and ball finials, which include half-piers on the inner face that match the central piers. Battlemented brick walls extend from the entrance on both sides, leading to square brick piers at each end. This structure is part of the park wall.
