Description

SY8581 EAST LULWORTH LULWORTH PARK 16/146 Main entrance to Lulworth Park, and adjoining sections of Park Wall, approximately 80 m GV II

Late C18. Triple opening. Pair of rusticated stone gate piers, with caps with fluted frieze and ball finials, to main opening. Smaller openings each side of this, bounded by brick piers with stone copings and ball finials, each having a half-pier on the inner face, matching the centre piers. Battlemented brick walls each side of the entrance extending to square brick piers at each end. Part of the Park wall.
