Description

These are two terraced houses, numbered 6 and 8 Church Lane, dating from the 19th century. Number 6 has a front of stone ashlar, while number 8 is rendered. Both houses are two storeys high with two windows each. They have slate roofs and windows with three panes per sash set in reveals, each with a keystone detail. A wooden, boarded door is positioned before a passageway to the left of number 6. Number 8 has a four-panelled door in the centre, with a footscraper to its left. Numbers 2 to 8 (even), including the nearby Dwarf Wall, railing and gate piers, form a group.
