Description
A pair of attached houses dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. Number 61 is built of rubble with whitewashed rubble to Number 63, both having ashlar copings and a gabled pantile roof with brick stacks on stone bases. The houses have double-depth plans. Number 61 is two storeys tall with a two-window front, featuring plate-glass sash windows under wooden lintels. Number 63 is two storeys tall with a three-window front, with three-light casement windows. Number 61 has a blocked plank front door, and a further part-glazed 19th-century door to the left; Number 63 has a plank door in a plain reveal to the left. Number 63 has cruciform braces above the ground-floor windows. The interior was not inspected. The buildings form a group with number 65.
