Description
11 and 13 High Street are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from squared and coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a gabled pantile roof with a mid-ridge brick stack on a stone base. The houses have a double-depth plan and are two stories tall, each with one window range. The facade is symmetrical, with outer doorways. The windows are hornless mid-19th century plate-glass sashes set in flush stone surrounds, complete with bracketed sills and keystones. The doors are recessed, mid-20th century part-glazed, panelled doors topped with flat hoods. The interior has not been inspected. This building has group value with Clere Cottage and Nos 7 and 9 High Street.
