Description
Well Cottages is a pair of houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar ends to the stacks. The buildings are one storey high with attics in stone gables and have three bays. The central section projects and is gabled, supported by diagonal buttresses and saddle stones. Each side has a single three-light casement window with diamond pattern leaded glass, while the gables contain two-light casements. There are two pointed arch doorways in the center, which have 20th-century doors. At the back, there is a single-storey rear wing.
