Description

Stone Lea is a house dating from the mid-18th century, which was remodeled in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and quoins, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof and features ashlar stacks with a cornice. The building has two storeys and attics with hipped dormers, and it is arranged in five bays. The mid-19th century windows are four-pane sashes with shouldered arch lintels. There is a projecting bay window on the ground floor to the right, which has a cornice. The house also has a projecting central one-storey porch that includes a cornice and blocking course, with a panelled door. This property is included for its group value.
