Description

Pike Cottage, now a house, dates from the early 19th century. It is built of ashlar with rubble stone sides and features a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate. The building has a half-hexagon shape facing the road and stands two storeys tall. The central entrance consists of a plank door located beneath a flat stone hood supported by brackets. There is a clock on the front wall, positioned above where a tollboard used to be, although the tollboard is now missing.
