Description

The building at 11 and 13 High Street dates from the 19th century. It is a three-storey structure, originally with three windows on each side. However, the second floor has only one window in number 13, and the windows are more widely spaced in number 11. The front of the building is painted brick, topped with a hipped tile roof. It originally had sash windows, but the glazing bars are now missing from the first-floor windows of number 11. Number 11 has a modern plate glass shop front, while number 13 features a more recent marble bank front.

The south front of number 13 faces onto Church Lane and originally had four window bays. To the west of the south front is a two-storey, five-bay stone extension. The buildings at numbers 5 to 13 (odd) form a group, alongside numbers 17 and 19.
