Description

Number 9 High Street is a mid to late 19th century building featuring a three-storey stone ashlar front with decorative dressings, voussoirs, and contrasting stone quoins. The slate roof complements the façade, which includes segmental headed sash windows without glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a small modern bow fronted shop window with glazing bars located to the left. The entrance door has six fielded panels set within fielded panelled reveals. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 13 (odd) The Fruit shop, and Nos 17 and 19.
