Description

  1. 1615 CHURCH LANE Priory House ST 8622 2/155 II GV 2. Facing north early C19; structure to south possibly older. North front of 2 storeys, 3 window bays. Tiled gabled roof; flanking stacks. Small moulded eaves cornice. Ashlar front. Window 3 panes wide in reveals. At right hand end, 4 flush panelled door in reveals with small rectangular fanlight over. C19 gas lamp-attached to house to left of doorway by a racket. To east of this, and adjoining No 8, a single storey range in slight recession [this backs on to a 2 storey block behind which faces south]. Tiled roof. One 3-light sash window at right hand end. 2 pairs of double wooden boarded doors at left hand end. In between, 4 flush panelled door with top panels cut array and glazed.
