Description
A pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, located on the south-east side of Milton Abbas. The cottages have brick walls with a contrasting brick band at first-floor level, and tiled roofs with moulded bargeboards. A central brick stack rises from the roof. A projecting double-gabled block is situated in the center of the building. The cottages are one storey in height with attics. Each cottage has a ledged door with cover fillets in the end section. Within the projecting block, each cottage features casements with lead lights, set beneath gauged brick arches on both floors. A small weatherboarded shop extension is attached to the right end of No. 45. The buildings are listed for their group value.
