Description
This is a pair of cottages dating to around 1780, located on the north-west side of Milton Abbas. They are built of plastered cob walls with hipped thatched roofs and brick end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high. A ledged door provides access. The ground floor features two cross-pattern windows with lead lights, while the first floor has three casements also with lead lights. The left-hand end wall is buttressed. The cottages are documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset Volume III, as Monument 7.
