Fern Cottage is a detached cottage dating from around 1780. It features plastered cob walls and a hipped thatched roof with brick end stacks. The cottage has two storeys. The ground floor includes a part-glazed door and two cross-pattern windows with lead lights. On the first floor, there are three casement windows, also with lead lights. To the right of the cottage, there is an outbuilding connected to the house by a light timber structure.
