Description
These are a pair of cottages dating from around 1780. They are constructed with plastered cob walls, and have a hipped thatched roof with brick end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high. The front door is panelled and features glazed upper panels. The ground floor has two windows with a cross pattern and lead lights. The first floor has three casements with lead lights. Number 5 has a single-storey porch addition to the right-hand end, with a hipped tiled roof. This porch contains a ledged door and a casement window with glazing bars. The cottages are documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset Volume III, Monument 7.
