Description

This is a detached cottage, likely dating from around 1780. It is constructed of plastered cob walls with a hipped thatched roof and brick end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high. A flush panel door, with glazed upper panels, provides access. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows, each with a central horizontal glazing bar. The first floor features three casement windows with lead lights.

Attached to the rear is a former bakery building, now incorporated into the main house. This building also has plastered cob walls and a thatched roof. It is one storey high with an attic; the ground floor has timber casement windows with diamond-pattern lead lights, and the attic features dormers with similar windows. To the right of the bakery is a smaller, lower outbuilding, originally a stable with a pantiled roof, now used as a garage. The building is listed for its group value.
