Description

Beechdale is a detached cottage dating from around 1780. It was formerly a village school. The cottage has walls of rendered cob, a hipped thatched roof, and brick end stacks. It is two storeys in height. A ledged door, fitted with a glass panel, provides access. The ground floor has two cross-pattern windows with lead lights, some of which are missing. The first floor features three casement windows, also with lead lights.
