Description

Nos. 50 and 51 in Milton Abbas are a pair of cottages dating from around 1780. They feature plastered cob walls and hipped thatched roofs, with brick stacks at the ends. The cottages are two storeys high. The ground floor has a ledged door with a glass panel and two cross-pattern windows with lead lights. On the first floor, there are three casement windows, also with lead lights. No. 51, which was formerly a dairyman's house, has a brick extension at the rear that has a tiled roof and a 20th-century dormer, likely converted from an old outbuilding into part of the cottage.
