Description
The Tea Clipper is a detached cottage, built around 1780, which was partly used as a teashop at the time of listing. It features plastered cob walls and a hipped thatched roof with brick end stacks. The building stands two storeys tall and has a part-glazed door. On the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows with casements that include glazing bars. The first floor has three casements fitted with lead lights. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing made of cob and thatch, which is of slightly later construction and has one casement with lead lights. This wing is attached to a former stable range made of brick and flint, topped with a pantiled roof, part of which has been converted into a kitchen.
