Description
These are a pair of cottages dating from around 1780. They have walls made of cob, which have been plastered, and hipped thatched roofs with brick end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high. A ledged door provides access. Number 17 has a cross-pattern window on the ground floor with cast iron glazing. The first floor has one casement window with cast iron glazing, and one window that is shared with Number 18. Number 18 has a timber casement window with glazing bars on the ground floor, and a casement window with lead lights on the first floor, which is shared with Number 17.
