Description
The boundary wall, gatepiers, and gates to the north boundary of the churchyard of the Parish Church of Saint James in Milton Abbas date from around 1786. The wall is constructed of flint, featuring brick buttresses and a stone capping, and is topped with simple iron railings. In the center, there are brick gatepiers that support ornamental wrought iron gates, which include an overthrow and a lantern bracket. At the eastern end, there are similar but simpler gates that do not have an overthrow.
