Description

This is a pair of cottages located in Milton Abbas, likely dating to around 1780. They are built with plastered cob walls and have hipped thatched roofs, with brick end stacks. The cottages are two stories high. A ledged door provides access, and the ground floor features two cross-pattern windows with leaded lights. The first floor has three casement windows, also with leaded lights. The cottages are recorded as Monument 7 in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments’ Dorset Volume III.
