Description

These are two cottages, dated to the mid-19th century, although number 26 may have elements from an earlier date due to a rubble plinth. The buildings are constructed of brick with a slate roof and feature one ridge stack and one end stack. They have a two-storey, four-window-range facade. A round-headed through passage is centrally located to the right. A terracotta cornice runs along the top of the building. The cottages have four-panel doors and horizontally-sliding sash windows with glazing bars. A late 19th-century shop front, now shuttered, is located to the left of the passage. The buildings are listed for their group value with the adjoining buildings to their right.
