Description
This is a house, likely dating from the 17th century, originally timber-framed with brick infill. The infill has subsequently been covered with roughcast and painted white, and sits upon a granite rubble plinth. The roof is slate-covered, with a brick end stack on the left, which has been truncated. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window frontage. The timber framing uses square panels with straight braces. A central door is approached by three steps and is surmounted by a tripartite fanlight. The first-floor windows are two-light, horizontally-sliding sashes with glazing bars. The ground-floor windows are of three lights, although all windows were boarded up in 1982.
