Description

2 and 3 Church Street are two cottages that likely date from the mid-19th century, although they may include some earlier elements. They are constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and have end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a dentilled eaves cornice. The front has three windows, with three 20th-century casements positioned below the eaves. On the ground floor, there are shop windows to the left and right of late 19th-century boarded doors. The door to the right (No. 2) is mid-19th century and has console brackets and a dentilled band. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
