Description
Manor Farmhouse is an attached farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features roughcast walls and an asbestos slate roof with gable ends and boxed eaves. There is a 20th-century brick stack on the left side and a rendered stack on the right gable, with a projecting embrasure at ground level. The building is two storeys high and has three windows: the ground floor windows are sashes with 20 panes and the first floor has sashes with 15 panes. At the centre of the front is a flush-panelled door from the 19th century, which has three top lights above it. An ironwork open porch with foliage infill and a flared metal roof leads to the entrance.
At the rear, there is a wing constructed of painted rubble-stone, also with an asbestos slate roof that is half-hipped at the back. This section has a brick stack on the ridge and is two storeys tall, featuring three windows that include two- and three-light iron casements with lead lights and segmental heads.
