Fullers Earth

Fullers Earth is a small villa with an attached cottage, situated on Duck Street in Cattistock. The villa dates from the mid-19th century, while the attached cottage may be of an earlier date. The villa has stone walls covered in render and a slate, hipped roof. A brick stack is located on the left end wall. The villa has two storeys and four windows with sash glazing-bars and stone sills. The central front door is of a stable-type, dating to the 20th century, and is sheltered by a pentice slate canopy with a glass panel to the side and above the door. The attached cottage has roughcast walls and a thatched roof, with a brick stack on its gable end. It has two storeys and three windows with cast-iron casements and wooden sills. There are two doorways, both with 20th-century plank doors, each with a brick porch and a thatched canopy.
