Description
The Pigeon House is a detached villa built in the early 19th century. It features stone walls that are stuccoed, with a plain band between the storeys. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are rebuilt stacks made of concrete block on either side of the centre. The house has two storeys and three windows, which are 19th-century sashes with thin glazing bars, and it includes external wooden window shutters. At the centre, there is a rendered porch with pilaster corners, leading to a two-leaf, six-panel door from the 20th century, topped by a fanlight with glazing bars. The house also has a long rear block that contains five later 19th-century sash windows on the south elevation.
