Description

Shedrick Cottage is a 18th-century cottage located on Shedrick Hill in Thorncombe. It features rubble walls with stone quoins and a thatched roof, which has a renewed brick stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with brick dressings and gauged brick arches. The wooden casements and frames, as well as the cills, have been renewed. The entrance includes a plank door with three lights and a brick porch that has a pitched slate roof, added in the 20th century. The roof is hipped at the west end and gabled at the east end.
