Description
The Knowles Arms Public House, located at 64 Salisbury Street, is an early 19th-century building. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a blocked central opening. The roof is a peaked slate hipped design, featuring flanking stacks and overhanging eaves. The front is made of ashlar stone with a plinth. The windows are four panes wide set in reveals, and each has a keystone. There is a round-headed doorway with a blocked tympanum and a plain wooden door. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 60 to 64.
