Description
No 59 Old Sarum is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and has three bays, although the centre bay is blocked. The front is made of colour-washed ashlar, and it features a slate gabled roof with small flanking stacks. The windows are four panes wide. There are coupled doorways set within a common three-centred arch, which have four-centred fanlights above them, and the doors are four-panelled. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 47, 49, the Roman Catholic Church of St Edward the Martyr, and Nos 53 to 59 (odd).
