Description

The Rectory is an early to mid-18th century building. It is two storeys high and originally had four windows. The steep slate roof has a gable at the right-hand side with coping, and a hip at the left-hand side. The front is constructed of rough ashlar. The windows are three panes wide within stone reveals, with stone architraves and keystones. A former doorway in the left-hand end bay on the ground floor has been converted into a window, featuring a rusticated architrave with a triple keystone and a triangular pediment above.

To the left-hand end is a wing with a three-storey gable facing the road, containing one bay. This wing is constructed of stone rubble with coping to the gable. An upper window is four panes wide, while the lower windows are smaller. A platband runs at the level of the first floor sill. A doorway with a keystone is located on the right-hand side of the ground floor.
