Description
The wall enclosing the churchyard of St Rumbold's Church dates from the 19th century and is constructed of ashlar with a coping. At the southeast entrance to the churchyard, there are ashlar gate piers featuring a plinth and capping, along with a modern gate topped by an overthrow and lamp. The wall rises higher as it extends southeast, where there is an additional gate pier at the southeast end. The wall also continues along the southeast side of the churchyard and features another wall made of stone rubble on the northwest side. This wall forms a quadrant wing at the entrance to the area between the Church and the Church Hall.
