Description
The garden wall and gate piers enclosing the garden to the Rectory were likely built in the 19th century. The wall is made of stone rubble and features coping that surrounds the front garden of the Rectory. There are entrances through the wall at the north-west and south-east ends. The entrance at the north-west end is flanked by ashlar gate piers that have plinths and capping, along with 19th-century ironwork gates. Beyond the south-east entrance, the wall extends south-east towards the entrance of the churchyard and then turns inward, creating a quadrant wing. In this section, the wall is lower and does not have coping.
