Description
The Trustee Savings Bank, located at No. 4 New Street, is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed in ashlar with a stone slate roof. It features stone chimney stacks at both gable ends and a parapet that is pierced with roundels. The building has six windows on the upper floor, each positioned under flat drip moulds with foliated terminals, and a string course that continues across the cills. The ground floor also has six similar openings, two of which are occupied by doors with carved panels. The building sits on a plinth. It is part of a group of listed buildings on New Street.
