ST 7813 STURMINSTER NEWTON Ornamental Spring Head. Approximately 9/185 90 m south-west of St Mary's Church.

Ornamental Spring Head, dated 1834. Curved stone surround having flat end with vermiculated rustication to the right. The corresponding left end is broken. Water issues from a stone lion's head. Probably originally surrounded by paving.
