Description
This is a house, originally three cottages, dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble with a thatched roof and brick stacks at the gable and three-quarters along the roofline. The house has two storeys and a five-window front. The windows are wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, all with wooden lintels. A plank door is located in the centre, and there is a blocked entrance to the right. Internally, there is a chamfered beam. The building is described in "RCHM, Dorset, Vol III" published by HMSO in 1970, on page 281, number 55.
