Description

Overton Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Church Lane, Sturminster Newton. It has a brick facade laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with rubble on the rear and sides. The roof is tiled, with a gable end to the right and brick chimney stacks. The symmetrical facade is three bays wide with sash windows featuring vertical glazing bars, all set beneath flat brick arches. Two gabled dormers are visible in the roof. The central doorway has a 19th-century wooden lattice porch.
