Description

This is a spring head located off Milton Road in the parish of Foremark, likely dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone and ashlar, featuring a circular design. The structure has a chamfered plinth and a moulded cornice. There are three recessed, ovolo moulded single light windows and a plain flat arched doorway. Only the rafters of the roof remain intact. This spring head was historically important as it provided the water supply to Foremark Hall.
