Description

Spring Head is a spring head located approximately 400 metres southeast of Packington Hall, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and features a round-headed moulded arch at the opening, topped with a pedimented roof. The spandrels are adorned with foliate paterae. It is possibly designed by Capability Brown around 1750-1751, during his landscaping of the garden.
