Description
The churchyard wall, railings, and gates at the Church of St. James date from the late 18th century. The railings are made of wrought iron and feature arrowhead designs. They are divided into sections by square-section piers, also made of wrought iron, which are topped with urn finials and scroll buttresses. The railings stand on a low wall constructed of coursed sandstone rubble, finished with shaped coping. The gates have similar vertical bars and include a closed lower section.
