Description
The structure consists of a gate, attached steps, walls, and railings located to the southeast of Foremark Hall. It dates from the early 18th century and the 19th century, constructed from sandstone ashlar and wrought iron. There are five steps leading up to early 18th century wrought iron gate piers that feature ornate openwork decoration and are topped with strapwork finials. The gate is flanked by 19th century spearhead railings, with a square ashlar pier with a pyramid top on the left side.
