Description

The ice house, located off Milton Road in the parish of Foremark, is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a circular domed structure that is covered by an earth mound. A tunnel-vaulted corridor leads to the north, which is accessed through a round-arched doorway. This ice house was used to serve Foremark Hall.
