Description

The Garden Temple at Foremark Hall is a late 18th-century structure designed as an ornamental feature in the landscape garden of Foremark Hall, which was created for the Burdette family. It is constructed of red brick with cement rendering and ashlar detailing. The temple is circular in shape and is open to the west, featuring an arcade supported by four Ionic columns. The design includes a panelled frieze, a moulded cornice, and a blocking course. Notably, the temple is roofless and closed to the east.
