Description

The Old Dairy is a building of probable 18th century origin, located at right angles to Ulwell Road. It features walls made of Purbeck Stone and has a modern asbestos tile roof that has been lowered, evident from the weathering on the chimney stack. The structure is two storeys high. The gabled elevation facing the road includes modern casement windows on both the ground and first floors. The main elevation, which faces south, has two modern casement windows on the ground floor and four casement windows on the first floor. At the eastern end of the building, there is a barn that is continuous with the house and likely built around the same time. The barn has a plain ledged door and one casement window on the first floor.
