Description

No. 2 West Street is a detached house with an outbuilding, dating from the mid-19th century. The house features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with projecting boxed eaves. There are brick stacks at each gable end. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. To the left of centre is a plank door with one glass light, also from the 19th century. All openings are topped with segmental stone arches. An attached outbuilding is located at the east gable end, constructed with rubble walls and covered by a hipped slate roof.
